From March 2nd to 8th, 2026, the Polito Cycling team gathered once again for one of the most anticipated moments of the season: the Tuscany Training Camp. This year’s destination was Chianni, a charming village nestled among the rolling hills of Tuscany and the perfect base for a week of cycling, friendship, and unforgettable landscapes.

More than 25 riders took part in the camp, sharing long days on the bike through some of the most scenic roads the region has to offer. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and quiet countryside, every ride became an opportunity to explore the beauty of Tuscany while enjoying the rhythm of the group. The rolling hills constantly challenged our legs, but the effort was always rewarded with sweeping views and peaceful roads that seemed made for cycling.

As always, the goal of the training camp went beyond training itself. It was about spending time together, strengthening the bonds within the team, and welcoming new members into the Polito Cycling family. Throughout the week, groups naturally formed and reshaped along climbs and descents, but the spirit remained the same: supportive, relaxed, and full of enthusiasm.
Off the bike, the experience continued with another essential ingredient of any great cycling trip: food and conviviality. Long days in the saddle were followed by evenings around the table, enjoying generous Tuscan meals and sharing stories from the day’s ride. Laughter, cycling talk, and the occasional friendly debate about routes or tactics kept the atmosphere lively well into the night.
To wrap up the week, the group headed out to witness one of the most iconic races on the calendar: the legendary Strade Bianche. Standing along the famous gravel roads, we watched an incredible performance by Tadej Pogačar, who dominated the race with a powerful move on the Tolfe sector—an unforgettable moment to experience together after a week spent riding similar Tuscan hills.

The Tuscany Training Camp once again proved to be much more than a training week. Between long rides, shared meals, and the chance to experience professional cycling up close, it became a moment of connection that perfectly reflects the spirit of Polito Cycling ASD: riding together, enjoying the journey, and building memories along the way.
