We Bike & Run Till You Can: Over 600 Athletes and Fans Rewrite History on the Stellantis Mirafiori Track

Turin, 12 October, 2025 — The "We Bike & Run Till You Can" sporting event concluded with extraordinary success, uniting the university community and the Turin area in an exceptional location. Organized by Polito Cycling and Polito Running Club, the event brought over 600 people—including athletes, spectators, and organizers—inside the prestigious Stellantis testing track in Mirafiori, a space that usually remains completely off-limits.

The event, held on a closed circuit for exclusive use, offered a dynamic program that saw over 100 cyclists and more than 150 runners at the starting line, generating significant visibility thanks to the presence of approximately 500 spectators.

The Cycling Challenge and the Value of Inclusivity

The cycling race took place in an exciting criterium format. The program included four qualifying heats, two repechages, and a fiercely contested men's final.

The most significant and rare element in the amateur scene was the decision to dedicate a qualifying heat and a final exclusively to women, concretely promoting female participation.

The results highlighted the team's talent:

• Women's Classification: 1st Eleonora Cazzula, 2nd Chiara Ferrari.

• Men's Classification: 3rd place Viacheslav Boloktnikov.

Run Till You Can

The "Run Till You Can" running competition offered a unique spectacle. Runners challenged themselves on the Mirafiori testing track in a specific elimination format, marked by the escalating pace of a car provided thanks to the prestigious collaboration with the Stellantis Group. With each lap, the speed imposed by the vehicle progressively selected the participants, until the final dozen remained on the track for one last spectacular lap to the finish line.

An Unforgettable Meeting: From Experts to Students

The day represented a unique platform for intergenerational sharing: diverse professionals pedaled and ran side by side, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Participants included professionals of the caliber of Niccolò Bonifazio, CEDAS employees, and young competitive athletes from the region, including athletes from the Dual Career program at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Rounding out the group were numerous young men and women from Polito Cycling, many of whom started cycling thanks to the association, and even old friends who had found a true family in Polito Cycling during their Erasmus period in Turin.

The University Classification: Integrated Excellence

The event sought to highlight the ability to integrate study and sport by providing specific awards for university athletes.

• Student Women's Classification: 1st Eleonora Cazzuola, 2nd Chiara Ferrari, 3rd Francesca Rolle.

• Student Men's Classification: 1st place Viacheslav Boloktnikov.
